JBHS Cell Phone Policy Update
Good afternoon,
Starting this school year, in order to minimize distractions and promote a focused learning environment in our classrooms, as well as align with upcoming state requirements, students will be required to follow a “bell to bell” cell phone/electronic device policy at James Buchanan High School. This means that students will not have access to their personal electronic devices, cell phones or communication devices from the beginning of Homeroom/Activity Period until the conclusion of the school day. In the event a student needs to call home, a student may seek permission from a teacher or advisor to go to the school office. In cases of illness, students should request to visit the nurse’s station for evaluation and communication with parents/guardians.
